Smart Cabling & Transmission Corp. (SC&T) guarantees its products will be free from physical defects in material and workmanship under proper use and service. SC&T provides a two-year warranty, starting from the shipping date. The warranty covers repairs and replacements due to factory defects, and SC&T will solely determine if repairs the damaged products or replaces them for its customers.

What’s Not Covered

  • The products outside of the warranty period.

  • The damage was subject to abuse, improper use not conforming to product manual instructions.

  • The products that have been modified or repaired by any unauthorized service center or personnel.

  • The products’ serial number label is missing or unrecognizable.

  • The damage was subject to environment conditions more severe than those specified in the manual and specification.

  • The damage was subject to Force Majeure, such as acts of God, flood, lightning, earthquake, war, vandalism, theft, brownouts or sags (damage due to low voltage disturbances).

What if my products are out-of-warranty?

  • Products outside the warranty period can be still repaired by SC&T at various costs.

  • Warranty extension services are provided by SC&T or thru our worldwide dealers and distributors at an additional cost. Please contact your local distributor or sales representatives.

How to Process RMA Return

  • STEP 1: Contact Us

    Please contact us at service@sct.com.tw or directly to your sales representatives to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, an invoice with the corresponding serial number and the model number.

  • STEP 2: Prepare Shipment

    Please provide us your shipping invoice and await our confirmation before returning the defective units. The invoice should state the RMA number and specify with the statement of "RETURNED GOODS WITH NO COMMERCIAL VALUE".

  • STEP 3: Ship Package

    Our customer is responsible for returning the defective goods to SC&T’s facility and prepays for the transportation cost. Please properly pack the items before shipping out to prevent any unexpected damage. 

  • STEP 4: Repaired and Ship back

    The SC&T repair team will soon work on the devices as soon as they arrived and deliver them back to you within a month except for some special conditions such as shortage of materials. SC&T is responsible for the expense of the repair and returning shipping cost for the warrantied products.

How to Process RMA Return

Ship Package

Our customer is responsible for returning the defective goods to SC&T’s facility and prepays for the transportation cost. Please properly pack the items before shipping out to prevent any unexpected damage.
