HE02E can transmit 4K 30Hz HDMI for 100m over Cat6a/Cat7 cables. As transmission distance is determined by the video resolution and the quality of the cable, according to SC&T's experience, we always test our products using different kinds of cables and provide detailed specifications. Yes, you can use a device that supports HDBaseT input on the receiver side. The HDBaseT transmitter can directly send signals to your HDBaseT device without receivers. Devices like projectors and monitors with HDBaseT input ports are often used.
Integrating transmitters/receivers made by different manufacturers in your system is not recommended since they are designed and made differently.
Since HDBaseT transmits uncompressed, zero-latency video, it requires a higher bandwidth: 4K 30Hz video requires 10.2Gbps, and 4K 60Hz 18Gbps. Consequently, we recommend that you use Cat6a or better cables.
